HMT Electric was conceived in high-rise construction and it continues to be a growing part of our portfolio. Decades of experience with over 40 high-rise buildings have given us a depth of wisdom and knowledge that afford us genuine expertise and maximum efficiency on these projects. As a full-service contractor in the high-rise space, we provide front-end design & engineering feedback, value engineering, BIM modeling, and constructability paired with a team of electricians proficient in means & methods to employ these strategies.
HMT Renewable Energy was established in 2012 to fill the demands of commercial solar and smart energy storage installations. Our PV installation experience includes canopy, rooftop and ground mount arrays with over 100 megawatts installed between 2014-2017 alone. Our Energy Storage System (ESS) experience spans from small standalone ESS/PV combined systems, to utility grid-tied ESS systems. HMT Renewable Energy continues to evolve by staying in tune with the latest renewable energy technologies, trends, rebates, and codes.
HMT’s commercial division provides for both large ground up projects such as parking structures and office buildings and smaller tenant improvement work. We offer a wide range of services; demolition and safe off services, temporary power, underground services, upgrades to distribution systems, lighting and other building infrastructure in all sectors including lab space renovations, retail, education, medical and hospitality.
