HMT stands for Hungry Mean & Tired, inspired by the grit, determination & teamwork of a group of Western Canadian commercial fishermen. Our team embodies the same set of values in our approach to electrical construction. Specializing in high-rise construction, building automation, commercial TI’s, low voltage systems, commercial solar & battery storage, HMT Electric is motivated to provide exceptional customer service and definitive results.

HOW YOU SHOULD FEEL AFTER A HARD DAY'S WORK

COVID-19 Statement

MARCH 13, 2020

This message is to update you on HMT’s response to the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) global health emergency with respect to business continuity.  As you already know from media reports, the situation is dynamic and the number of people contracting the virus has increased globally.  Our company’s first focus has been and remains the health and safety of our employees, customers, suppliers and the public.

This is an unprecedented health challenge that will impact global supply chains and potentially lead to some level of supply disruption for some of our projects. We are closely monitoring the situation and addressing our customers’ needs on a case-by-case basis, if there are disruptions.

We have activated our business continuity management plans across the organization and throughout our jobsite locations. This remains a fluid situation and we’re monitoring the local/state/national governments, following governmental and health authorities’ guidelines.

We initiated our company guidelines in late February concerning travel, visitors to our sites, and office with the goal of mitigating risk to our people and business continuity. We continue to network with our industry peers and industrial consortium's to ensure our actions are consistent, protective, and forward looking.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us.

We value your business and appreciate your understanding during this global health emergency.
